How it started…
Erin grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan having a love and passion for fitness from the very start. She is a life-long athlete, who played four sports in high school and two sports her freshman year of college. For four years she studied health and fitness and stayed involved with athletes and athletics by working as a student athletic trainer. Erin graduated from Tri-State University in May 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotions and Recreational Programming and a Minor in Athletic Training. After graduation she decided to obtain certification as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition and Wellness Consultant. She started off working at a gym, was Director of Personal Training and Weight Management at Kachmann Mind Body Institute and has now set off into opening LONGevity Fitness. It has always been a passion of Erin’s to help others educate themselves on how to improve their life through health, nutrition and fitness.
Erin is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Nutrition & Wellness Consultant and Weight Management Consultant through the AFPA. She is pursuing additional fitness certifications, including Strength and Conditioning Coach and Nutrition Education Trainers Certification. She also plans to attend graduate school to get her master’s degree. Her future goals are to expand LONGevity Fitness into other local communities and eventually nationwide.
Erin’s passion for helping others lead healthy lives has lead her to assist hundreds of people in getting in shape, losing weight, eliminate unnecessary medications and helping people get their lives back. Erin is the creator and innovator for most of the LONGevity Fitness programs. Erin’s compassionate approach comes for the heart. She looks forward to getting to know each member and help them reach their personal goals and live a healthy life.
